While I was doing the engine swap (going from M20b20 to M20B25), a friend of mine gave me couple of the motor mount cup (sold to me acutally) to play with. He claimed these were BMW's motor mount cup which will provide similar function as those UUC transmission mount cup.
When the swap was finished, even with the 3 month old motor mount, I could felt there is slighty more vibration in the cabinet. Engine response seems quite direct (could be the engine difference as well). Seems like this could be an economy mod to reduce motor mount deflection between soft OE mounts and hardcore aftermarket mounts.
The cup does have a part number, 11811133377 which can not be pulled from realoem part number search, however, after playing with realoem, the part will show up on 1988 Europe 325i AT sedan, but not US spec cars.
A online BMW parts retailer showed a cost of $11.25 USD per cup, but did mentioned it's a special order which may require additonal shipping cost.
Sorry, no pics for now, but it does show up on the parts diagram when you select 1988 Europe 325i AT sedan in realoem website.
Just a little sharing.
That friend also got a set of stoppers (11811132177)which looks like it mounts to the BOWL REINFORCEMENT behind and under the engine. Will report back and snap some photos when we mount it on.
