If you track your stock M20 with Rcomps, you will spin a bearing due to oil starvation if youre pushing hard enough imo. I know Im not the only one that has experienced this.
Though I did rebuild the M20, I am now upgrading to a 24v. I would most certainly buy a baffle for the M50 pan. I suggested this to TRM Matt but he believes they arent necessary. I respectfully disagree as I dont ever want to hear that sound ever again.
Something to consider in the design phase. I think the problem is two fold. Certainly cornering forces, but also extreme braking forces, where all the oil is thrown into the timing cover.Leave a comment:
