Fucking sick deal nonetheless.
Seriously considering going through them instead of trying to make what I have work.Leave a comment:

Looks like the GB will only be for the M20 guys at present. Kevin is ironing out the final details of the kit and the Group Buy at the moment.
Tentatively the Group Buy offer will end the last day of Febrary once it starts, so I may not even be able to get in on it myself! But at least everyone else will have a shot at it.
More details are forthcoming.Leave a comment:

^Yup. And if you read through rs4pro3's thread, you may or may not have a problem tuning using a MAP sensor. I believe he is going to use a hybrid MAP/Alpha-N setup to tune his.
I have a feeling using a MAF with a plenum will be the easiest way to get a good tune on the car.Leave a comment:

ITB's straight up:
Much narrower and higher torque band. Will be breathing lean hot air, whch is not good for power. Engine will heatsoak quicker.Leave a comment:

I've seen some videos on youtube where they've got their engine's running without a plenum or anything, just the itb's straight up?You could, the TB's have a nipple next to the fuel injector opening so you can connect all 6 TB's to a vacuum log and take a MAP reading from that. But I thought I remembered Ely (rs4pro3) having problems with that on his homemade setup. If you wanted to run an Alpha-N setup you could probably get away with it.
what kind of problems can that cause, because it sounds freakin' awesome!Leave a comment:

If I had that on my car I think I would blow a load everytime I walk by.Leave a comment:
