<3 my eta, it's got a great torque curve and gets good milage. Not sure why there is so much hate for them, I think people with i's are under some false impression that they have fast cars LOL

I've owned both and the "i" is a better car then the e/es.

And I have no delusion that the "i" is a fast car. It's not.

Nor do I hate the e/es. I enjoyed my 325es when I had it, but I would take a 325i/is/ic over it without hesitation.

An e/es with a 5 speed and 3.73 LSD is a nice compromise.

I drove a 325i autotragic with an eta motor and i wiring and brain. It was very quick off the line and would easily brake traction. Not bad for an automatic. But the power would drop of at around 4-5k rpm. I think with a cam and a tune it would be an i eater.
