Ive been back and forth on buying a carbon fiber hood for forever now. From what ive read, the MAShaw hood was the one to get. But its not made anymore. Ive seen a bunch of mixed reviews on the VIS hood. Some people say it fits great while others say it looks like garbage. I am aware that im buying a aftermarket body panel and am ok with not 100% perfect but i would like it to look nice. The rest of the car is in very good condition. (The hood was damaged by some kids that decided to walk across a bunch of cars in a parking garage) Ive also seen some places say it uses factory mounting points and old hardware and latches must be reused while some other sites say hood pins are required. Does anyone have any experience with these hoods and can clarify installation as well as fit and finish. (This is regarding the OEM style hood)
