Wrong! Rat rods are an exaggerated throw back to the original hot rodders combined with a counter-action to the over-priced "hot rods" of today. Most have flat head v8's with around 150hp... and i'd rock one any day of the week ...

Back on track, i'm feeling this e28

    Thanks for being different!

....But surprised you haven't gotten pulled over yet with that giant constellation of a glass break star right in your field of vision. I will even go the length to say that you are a hazard on the road. Not too long ago a friend of mine hit and killed a pedestrian because the corner of his windshield still had morning fog on it.

Shouldn't cost too much to put a used windshield on it and caulk the crap out of the part that doesn't seal with the A-pillar anymore.

    Cheers.

I think it's important to keep an open mind. I like this look ALOT, though I think it would've been wrong if it was done this way before it was totaled. Cause back then it was just a bit to good to get this kind of treatment. As for the r3v-approved sig, I actually liked it the best as it was in P-BMW Magazine, that was proper awesome. But that might just be down to the fact that I prefer the ratty look when only some of the bodyparts are rusted, especially the hood, decklid and bumpers.
But back to my opening point, people need to be more openminded. If you don't like it, say you don't like it and shut up. What if he was to talk shit about your cars when ever you posted something? Because not everything else on here is all that great. Being different and more creative is not a bad thing. And though he's not the first to do this, there aren't many people with enough guts in the BMW scene.
Just be happy that it's not another car that's just come back from the plastic shop and bumped in to every shelf (like Rieger and other shit brands).

Keep it up, I like your style!

If you like it yourself, f@ck everyone else...

    Hell yeah.
Part deux should probably be completed next week maybe? I've got lots more I have to finish up.

As for my motor, it's no slouch- cammed, chipped, and all of the basic upgrades I need, it can definitely get up and go. It's not balls-out fast or anything, but I think it'd give you a surprise.

Do they all have 18" RS's?
People take pictures of their POS rusted e30's and post them up all the time here. They don't cop it anywhere near as much as this guy.. I don't see what the big deal is?

And here's a picture straight out of the camera, no photoshopping.

Hardly different. Slightly less contrasty and no blue.
