I would agree- but I had countless people ask if it was on bags- and my wheel clearance is on par. I've got a credit card of clearance out back, and I can't turn my front wheels without hitting the fenders- literally. My undercarraige is also substantially lower than my skirts.

I'm damn close to bag height. Damn close.

Look here- you can see how much lower it is than the rockers make you think.

I do really dig that car, but I do think you need to paint it before there is nothing left, it would be a shame to let an E28 rot to nothing.

and no offense, but it needs to be lower if you're going to say "not on bags" like it's some big deal.. sure it's really low for a bmw, but I didn't think it was on bags for a second. I have a friend with an audi A4 that looks like a hovercraft going down the road, you can't see daylight under it, he can high center on a skittle... but even in that case, it's more fun to hear people ask him to hit switches just to be surprised that it's not on bags.
