    I was riding my vert this low for 2 months. Big mistake. I've always seen oil pans Crack, but never in pieces like mine. Looked like a puzzle.

    Yep, shortened strut housing. I have my 5.5", 475# springs available if you want. $100 for the pair.

    low n slow and a fellow atlantian! car def. looks great. Maybe you've seen me clogging up the streets as all the ppl on the verge of a heart attack fly by!

    I've been thinking about raising the important bits, but just have not done it... hopefully someone will chime in about past experiences

    25mm and I would be happy. I've been stuck too many times and have had it listening to the girlfriend complain about walking way too far :). Surely something close to 25mm is within an allowable tolerance..

    anyone have any experience with this?

    Your car looks great. But I would definitely not space up the motor and/or transmission. You really aren't accomplishing anything good. You're already too low with undersized tires and oversized wheels. You don't need to do anything else to degrade performance.
