I was riding my vert this low for 2 months. Big mistake. I've always seen oil pans Crack, but never in pieces like mine. Looked like a puzzle.

do you have shortened strut housing and shorter shock to get that low or is it just 5.5 springs just wondering because my gc are all the way down but would like to go about .5 inche more and I have stock length shocks but running a 6 in spring.

Yep, shortened strut housing. I have my 5.5", 475# springs available if you want. $100 for the pair.

Your car looks great. But I would definitely not space up the motor and/or transmission. You really aren't accomplishing anything good. You're already too low with undersized tires and oversized wheels. You don't need to do anything else to degrade performance.

low n slow and a fellow atlantian! car def. looks great. Maybe you've seen me clogging up the streets as all the ppl on the verge of a heart attack fly by!

I've been thinking about raising the important bits, but just have not done it... hopefully someone will chime in about past experiences

25mm and I would be happy. I've been stuck too many times and have had it listening to the girlfriend complain about walking way too far :). Surely something close to 25mm is within an allowable tolerance..

And most importantly: Race Skids skid plate to save the oil pan. Yep, used it seven times yesterday in a 45 mile trip. Going to a higher spring rate up front to hopefully cure the problem. Anyone ever spaced the motor/tranny up for more ground clearance?
