    Will it matter if I'm from out-of-state? There's no need for trailer registration here.

    EDIT: Just called CHP- they said since I am a visitor, the trailer only needs to comply to TN's registration laws.

    So.... I'll still get stopped, just less likely to get ticketed.

    Your list of infractions ends here. I don't know about Cali, but driving an uninsured trailor up here is criminal, and jail time if the authorities do it by the book. CHP is not just a bunch of Rammathorns.


    If you must, flip it back over, register it, and then flip it back again.
