Got some goodies at Pick n' Pull today!:
Rear pop out window with black trim
Interior lower door trim
Rear interior cards
Clean rear deck that will be sprayed black
Exterior late model passenger door molding
And New mirror glass

I'm not sure about fitment, I would think that they would be identical, but I do know that the window mechanisms are different, it's not necessarily a bad thing, you would just have to remember when you get replacement parts.

Maybe I can fix the fitment on the early model door myself? I would like to get a late model before I paint it someday though.
It's just really annoying having mixed parts haha

Ahh, yeah I know. An early model door and rear pop out window is on the passenger side. I'll get the door sorted out one day. Would fitment be better with a late model door? I imagine it would, cause now its a little off and difficult to shut

Depends on goal and budget. Big power, turbo M50 is the best bang for the buck. NA power, S52. NA M50 is good for cheap NA and DD status and can still be pretty quick.

I'm partial to my S52

I've heard good things about M50's with a like of the M3 things mixed in with it and perfomance cams and all that. I was thinking I would do a stroker M20 with a miller MAF and stuff the whole deal. Seems the most affordable. Some say the M20 is bulletproof, some say it isnt. So Idk

Painted all door and fender moldings black besides passenger door because its an early model door

Overall I'm pretty pleased, I need to get the car repainted though and get a late model door for better fitment and the right trim. Unless I can swap the trim with a late model and adjust the way the door sits.

If your time is cheap, google $50 paint job.
