Eurogrills... yeah. That would be nice.
Standard mirrors, sure..if thats worth doing to you.
    New wheels? Ok..

But the best mod or change this car could experience is a change in scenery and owner.

    Sell it to me!!!!!!! NOW!

ha.. and wouldn't I freak if you did!!! ( I'd take it off your hands though, for sure).

What are available offsets of the slips? Seems mostly high like et40 is where every rota is at. I haven't looked into a set of 15s though. I have some of the group buy et20 16x8 slips. Love them.

All available in 15x8 and have excellent brake clearance and light weight.
I'll look into the options ASAP.

Rob, I'd take an RSC36 for the E30. I have an older model version on my E36 M3 (TSE or some such model I think), and I love it.

Car looks great! I'll echo the other posters and say the mirrors don't look right to me on the car.

    I'd rock a set of 15x8 or 15x8.5 D-Forces if I could run 235 R888s or NT01s without bulge.

Safe to say the setup cost and minimum feasible manufacturing quantity is the problem. Serious question, how many people would really want a 15x8 or 8.5? Maybe there really is a missed opportunity there!

With a trade, I'd solve both "issues" then.

Nobody likes the mirrors? Huh... I thought they were a tasteful and subtle update. As a detail point on BMW styling, they are "period correct" as E34 M5s had those as a factory option in Europe.

I may change them back, but primarily for the reason that the other mirrors give better visibility.

I recently put an ACS valence on and after seeing what your car looked like with the Tech2 bits mixed with the IX skirts/flares I was completely sold. Conveniently enough a set just popped on on local craigslist and I pulled the trigger and bought them.

Going to have them painted this weekend and then mount them up. Now I just need a rear valence to tie it all together.

Out of curiosity, how to you mount them up to the car. I honestly have no idea.
There's a bunch of little clips, but my car may not be an example of how the factory does it... normal iX has fenders similar to a regular E30, and the flares go over them - they're pretty much decorative, they do not provide additional clearance. With my car, the fenders were cut out underneath the flares so there really is more clearance. Also, rear fender modifications may be different for pre-'88 cars with the different opening contour.

    Thanks very much!

Try one of our steel or leather-wrapped steel knobs. Significantly different thermal transfer coefficient. You'll notice that all of our newer knobs only come in steel for that reason, no aluminum option.
