Go take a driving lesson kid, and while you are at it, re-paint those calipers, they don't look cool enough.Yours truly,

REALLY? you aren't a kid? You and your buddy's need to grow up then and realize those roads aren't yours. A license is a priveledge you don't deserve if you guys think you were driving within your limits.
This video at @ 1:34. You really think driving like that was a good idea? Even if you yourself were keeping it cool, the second you saw your buddy do something like that you should have checked up and signaled to take it easy. What do you think that motorcyclist was thinking? What if he slammed on his brakes and lost control due to your buddy's lack of care? Just because you don't hit a person doesn't mean you didn't cause problems.
Seriously, just think about it next time you and your friends are out at a meet. Our cars are cool to look at in non wrecked condition. They are not very awesome when being loaded onto the back of a flat bed while holding up traffic for hoiurs.Yours truly,
Rich

I really do appreciate the concern, i do not appreciate all the hatred and bashing. This thread has been an eye opener for me and made me realize some stuff.Comment

Change the timing at 1:34 where the car comes through two seconds earlier and you have my exact circumstances. That dude has more than half the car over the center lane. Luckily that biker was setting up for the turn just before the car came through; in my case, I was just turning into the apex when I got hit. If I hadn't been leaned over, I'd be dead.REALLY? you aren't a kid? You and your buddy's need to grow up then and realize those roads aren't yours. The hatred comes from you trying to justify jeopardizing people's lives because of some pieces of metal on a 10 year old car. That just smacks of pretentiousness and douchebaggery. If it's not who you really are then man up and take responsibility.
Look, I enjoy a good strafing as much as the next guy, two wheels or four. If you're leading canyon runs you are responsible for the entire group and you need to set a pace that everyone in your group can run safely, and by safely I mean for them and everyone else around them. The slower people learn best by following the proper lines from the fast guys, and they can't do that when they're on their own after 3 corners. Trying to keep up will sometimes cause them to drive beyond their abilities, and that's when accidents happen.
Believe me, you can have just as much fun leading a smooth group of riders/drivers as you can running balls-out and the slower ones will thank you for it. For those of us who actually care about the repercussions of our actions, I think it can be even more fun.
