shots look awesome, I'd love to try some out sometime *nudge Clayton get some nudge*
There's a lot of space above or around the car, closer + center, or balancing the negative space.
Also, like Clayton mentioned a couple of the angles were a bit normal, nothing extreme.
I LOVE the frontal shots though, I think they look great.

Nice shots. Were you bouncing the light off the ceiling? Sometimes the bottom part of the car around the wheels comes in a little dark. Also the fronts look a little dark at times. I've never used strobes before, so these are all just my observations from lots of looking around at pictures and talking to people.
The first shot looks distorted and crooked in my opinion. And the many of the shots appear to be taken at standing height which seems a little boring to me. I'd get the basic angles down then start moving stuff around and experimenting, but I'm sure running out of time didn't help that.
I'm sure you noticed the green reflections on the 6er windows.
Overall cool stuff, I'm sure you'll get more comfortable using them. I can't wait to pick up some flashes myself.Leave a comment:

I can't give any pointers that you wouldn't already know. A couple of the head on shots could do with a slightly lower viewpoint and the lighting is a hair weak on the fronts, but other than that they look awesome.
I'm super jealous, I'd love to learn how to use off camera lighting :(Last edited by VicSkimmr; 05-28-2010, 08:30 AM.Leave a comment:

Nice shots! Luke's car looks great! I had the pleasure of meeting him when he bought it from my roommate in its old, crappier state ;)

The first shot for each car (side shot) its on a slight incline and I think it doesn't mesh well with the framing/cropping you finished up with. It takes away from the photo alittle bit (distracting). Other than that The shots look pretty sick!Leave a comment:
