Some pics my buddy Justin took a few nights ago with his '69 2500. He is a much better better photographer than I am and has a great eye for this stuff.

My wife and I were on our way to New York a while back and saw your buddy driving his beautiful 2500 down the Connecticut highway. Man how I lusted after that car. I had a similar reaction when I saw you E28 on the RA's at Bav Auto a couple years back.

My father just picked up a real clean E28, I'll have to send him the link to this thread. This car is totally cool.

What's the model, color combo, etc.? They make great driver's, but living in the Northeast means it stays in the garage during the cold months and I think they have are more rust prone than E30s. Plus the car just clicked over 73000 original miles.

Yup, it's an '83 528i with Schnitzer GmbH stickers in the door jam and lots of other subtle things. Supposedly its one of a 5 or 6 ever built so I'm just trying to enjoy it and attend to the mechanicals on it. You are absolutley right its a great driver and its nice not to worry about scratches, but the bird shit still pisses me off lol!

Those wheels refinished in silver would look hot on your car. I've seen it several times at different events and it always look good to me.

Thanks! We've never spoken before, but thanks for the compliments. I actually prefer the look of the black centers now, but who knows what direction I'll take with the wheels. I've got 2 sets of staggered BBS RA's to play with so I may just polish the lips on these and leave them be.

First 2 in my driveway, the rest at east rock park in New Haven. It's a great spot for pictures.
