Bolts right in, just like my e36 rack did. I still fail to see the modifications required to fit either rack to the e30.

Thanks everyone for the support by the way.

Awesome! Nice to see you trying to get back into the game!

The e46 rack how many turns does it have? And it just bolts in? No modification required like the e36 racks?

If he tears up my rad support, a clutch fan is EXACTLY what i'll do. The radiator is pressed against the distributor as it is.

Awesome man, it always feels good getting lots accomplished in a short time. I though the shop fabricator was gonna tear apart you radiator support to fit a viscous clutched fan lolz

The heads are different, but the blocks are very similar. The M5 headgasket has huge openings for the water channels that are blocked on the M30 headgasket. I should've taken a picture to illustrate, but its all clear when you have them side by side.

The m5 gasket came on e34biturbos recommendation. If his m30s hold 600whp, I'm sure I can take his word for it.

Just here to reiterate what everyone else has said. I loved the white four door, and am absolutely in love with the coupe. Can't wait to see her back in action!
