Good point, very true. That said, once the decision is made, there's no going back, and as I said before the chrome was expensive to get nice.
I like both those wheels, a lot. I will definitely consider them, but the interior has got to come first I think...
You sir, have made my evening. The roflCopter is flying around as we speak.

Debadged is the way to go on MT-II.
I would take back my comment about the shadowline if you had chrome kidneys, but chrome window frames just dont flow with shadowed grills.
I like the LSes, but maybe a more 'modern' wheel would look better with the MT-II as well (LM's or RG-R's perhaps?)Leave a comment:

Why do you keep saying shadowline will be expensive??? You can paint it yourself...you don't have spend a fortune by buying it from the factory. That's like flushing money down the toilet for something that is perfectly usable in "USED" condition...Leave a comment:

Hey, thanks very much. I may go with a chrome grille, it'd be a lot cheaper than shadowline trim...
When you say nogaro centre, do you mean just have the centres painted that colour, with a roundel?
Cheers
Oh and yea those AC Schnitzer's are hot... not 100% sure they would work with the Mtec2 though.
Annoyingly I've got to go back to the UK next week (school) so no more driving for me for another while :-( But I do plan on getting a custom chip done while I'm gone :-)
Oh, and someone please buy my parts (see sig) :-)Last edited by sweetride01; 09-03-2010, 01:02 PM.Leave a comment:

Stay with the chrome trim but, get a chrome grill to match. It looks odd without all shadowline or all chrome. Debadged is nice as well. Wheels look good but, I would go with a nogaro center or maybe wheels like Yan-3's ac schtizners in black.. Overall car is hot!Leave a comment:

Thanks, yea the paint looks great. Everyone who's seen it today has commented on it, the guy at the tire store even offered to buy it from me...car looks great! i love that color, same one as my e28... I may have it repainted next year.
There is nothing better than fresh paint, i was so ecstatic when my e30 was painted 3 years ago, it was a PITA dealing with the guy who did it though...
i left the chrome on my bronzit, which i think looks better than shadowline. Although with your grill in all black i think the shadowline would match better.
i think some 16" alpinas would look sick on that car.
I'm afraid I've never been a huge Borbet fan, but I'd consider some genuine Alpina's to trade/part exchange if anyone has some...
So, I'm pretty sure you don't like the badges, lol.Leave a comment:

Love the car, I think you did a great job. I don't know why, but the painted door handles always look weird to me.
I say keep the chrome and the Ronals!
Nice job.Leave a comment:

the wheels are a great choice, but for some reason they're just not flowing on this car like they should. pick up some bbs's or alpina'a and she will be jaw dropping! :up:Leave a comment:
