Even an E30 touring can't be that heavy. Probably close to a 4door e36 318is, so it shouldn't be that bad. Especially with a 5 speed.

m42 makes it unique, but probably not enough power for a touring. m5x/s5x should do it right though :)

whole kit should fit as long as you get the sedan one

if you have a tow hitch though it will involve some cutting

luckily no hitch, need to find a MT2 sedan :(
