lol holy shit some people never cease to amaze me. Are some of you seriously that big of douches, that you actually think he posted his car post-wreckage, for you to tell him to learn how to drive??

So did you see evidence that it was burnt? I would call the cops and have one look at it with you. Seems like something funny is going on.Leave a comment:

it was an 84 318i with a engine bay mounted battery, thats probably what happened...shitty situationLeave a comment:

from the post i take it this was a 318? how early was it, did it have the battery in the front? if so might have pushed the hood to the point that it was touching the bat and with all fluids all under the hood there is your fire. but sorry to see the car the way it is.Leave a comment:

seems to be a sketchy shop...
have you ever been there before, to get any work done??
if not you should definitely do some research on their integrity. yelp them and see if theyre doin shady business on a frequent basis.
i bet they wont even let you take pics of the burnt wreck either. ASSUME THE WORST.
on my first civic they did some work on the window for me, but that was 4 years ago, and very minor work, so im not sure about the shop...im gonna let my inner detective do some work and try to get to the bottom of this....im just super bummed and unmotivated at this point. I just got my car back up and running this past satuday in time for g-fest, and it only lasted 3.5 days :[Leave a comment:

12 volt fire ........sorry for your loss, could have been worse, drive low and slow, that being said I rear ended a via bus back in the day with my VW, just like you looking at something on the side of the road for just a second. happens fast. driving defensively come with time and age. glLeave a comment:

i saw the car, but wasnt allowed to touch anything, or do much more than peer under the tarp....super weird.
and the worst part is, i was going there this morning to grab my wheels off of it, and now the front are pretty much gone :[ only the rears look salvageableLeave a comment:

so you havnt seen it since it burnt? sound super fishy to me. why wouldnt they let you look at it unless theyre trying to hide something.Leave a comment:

Car looked great at Gfest, easily one of my favorite Early models. I dont blame you for what happend, as it was bad timing. look away for a seond and Traffic is stopped.
Ethier a fuel line came undone (I dont know the M10 Very well) or someone lit your car on fire and wants insurance money. Wrecked cars dont typically burst into flames.Leave a comment:

when i was there this morning, it was covered by a tarp, and i wasn't allowed to move it pending a state investigation? idk sounds like a load of b.s. pics will be up as soon as i get themLeave a comment:
