Fellow WRX and 318is owner here as well! (I have an VF39'd '06 wagon that receives heavy camping duty as well as occasional HPDE track duty). I'm really liking the e30 as a DD compliment - it's so fun to drive, but slower than I'd like.

I'll keep an eye on your e30, I get the feeling this will turn out well in the future!

btw, I've got an 'i' lip for sale if you want one for cheap, i'll be happy to give you a subie-owner discount :)

indeed. plugs are cake on the little inline 4s. most everything is pretty basic so far.

Ill prob do race springs and e90 drops for the time being... Wheels will definitely be at least 8's... But again, probably not for a while. Spending on the race car needs to be 98% of where my extra funds go... at least till I can get it painted.

Car is so much nicer w/ quiet wheel bearings. Just need to do trans/ rear diff fluids. Its nice messing around with a car again, I forgot what it was like.

I know. Its better than nothing I think though. One day i'll get the stock is lip. Again, majority of my money and time is getting thrown at the caged chassis at the moment. Just trying not to get carried away with the e30 for the time being.

ps grippy: we are just cool. I miss the subaru though, but it will be a beast when it is done.
