so i finally got a chance to get her in the garage and took the hood of lol
grabbed the cherry picker from a friend and going to start working tomorrow
im probably going to move this to the project forum cuz thats the more appropriate sub-forum

no way??? that would suck maybe ill just pull the engine out and clean it while its out and clean the engine bay and all of that schnitzels so that would be a plus i guess better start working now and not wait for the oil pan to get here thanks for telling me that

BTW, the upper oil pan on the M42 is a complete bitch. I just did mine. You'll have to suspend the engine and drop the subframe.

is this one aftermarket? cuz i have no idea, never worked with security systems before

The security system can work with the ignition, but I don't think most aftermarket ones do.

the problem that i didnt think that it would have is the broken oil pan i guess that I will need the upper and the lower parts im a total noob in m42s

and a security system that i dont have a remote to it has a 5 amp fuse that is blown,

does the security system play a role in the cars ignition system by any chance?
