My thoughts exactly. I'm sure I'll go through these pretty quick so the 40's will be the replacements. It seems most people with stretched tires mount and dismount the tires themselves. Is this because normal mounting machines can't mount a stretched tire or is it more a liability issue? This is my first time owning such a combo.

most shops wont do it because of the liability. i work for costco tire and thats the issue we have, but if the customer is willing to sign a waiver then we will do whatever the customer wants. i havent personally stretched tires yet but im eager to do my set once i have enough money. another issue would be to even air them up, most shops should be equiped with a cheetah, but a severely stretched tire might require more than that.

shouldnt be too hard to find a tuning shop that would be willing to do it, but most commercial shops frown upon it.
