That's what I'm thinkin for DD duty. These aren't too expensive, practical and I personally love the way they look. M52 swap and call it day.

My wife loves these things and I spent forever trying to find one for her that wasn't completely beat. We ended up getting her a Mini but we're still on the hunt to get her a project. I ran my friend's ti with M3 suspension and a few minor mods at an autox once and really enjoyed driving it.

Looks like a clean example, congrats.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but ti's are like the ugliest thing BMW has ever made.

How much space is there in the back "trunk" area? I've never been able to look inside of a ti before. I'd imagine a fair bit with the rear seats folded forward, no? I'm thinking the next car I buy will be a ti for DD activities.

That's a nice looking one you grabbed there.

96 should not have a LSD unless it was opted for. Most have traction control and one wheel drive.

the e30 is a slick top from Florida with no rust, so plan to keep it that way, and we think it has one of the lower temp thermostat, it literally produce very little almost no heat, its great in the summer thou, and the Ti is a manual with LSD.

Its the exact same as Z3's, its a PAIN to fill it up, I'm 6'1 and I have to literally squad to fill it up, thank god it has a small tank.

And for the rear suspension, we like it, it drives literally like an E30 with bigger interior and a more useful trunk.

I have been looking to get one as a DD for awhile, I really like the red and black interior option that you see in some of them, like this one http://charlotte.craigslist.org/ctd/2620978373.html.

    Internet high five!

Trailing arms are awesome. Not the best for putting down the power, but they are part of the E30's recipe for fun.

I like the E36 M3 but, it is my least favorite of all M3s.
