First off I'm not a photographer so bear with me.
What an awesome day! The mixture of all the models was very cool to see, thanks to all the E30's that came out John/Jeff were pretty stoked. Attendance of preregistration was up 50-60 cars than last year and all in all +300 cars showed up.
The T-shirts came out pretty sweet and will be available through VintageBMWSource.com
Got up and hit the road this morning going through down town around dawn. Arrived at Woodely Park to find Jeff and Craig Hillskemper already there (If your a BMW tech you probably know who Craig is.). Craig was kind enough to bring out his E30M3 S52'd race car out to be one of the display cars for the Ireland Engineering booth.
MMM nothing like Jagermeister in the morning.
Next Ed of Ed's BMW Service brought out his fully built M30 E30 sedan. I love this car.
The last car for the IE booth was Le's recently finished Tii.
The guys at Groma were next door with an Alpina-esque 2002 and their Turbo M20 2002 (dynoed well over 400 at the wheels.)
The BMWPedals.com - mobile was there where they had a couple of really cool looking new shift knobs on display.
I spied Rob of E30motorwerk's car out there and though he kinda got his start by trash talking IE, I've got to give him credit where it's due. The car is beautiful.
Mat of TNG graced us with his presence.
2002AD brought out it's new Taiga pickup 02
Steve (runs bmw2002faq.com and races under KGB Racing brought out his lemons E12)
He claimed nano-technology was helping to give him the edge.
The engine bay of Dave Vaarco's (aadvark racing) M2
Ray of Elephant Supply (those skateboard decks) brought out his M2.
PJ Bonafacio brought out this beautiful IE Boxed flared M20 powered 2002, along with the Laguna Seca 2002.
Steve Of Limeworks brought out 3-4 2002's including his newly aquired turbo'd 5 cylinder Volvo powered 2002.
