Jack, I have the same text messages.
No need to make threats on line.
If you weren't happy about something should've talked to me like a man, face to face, tell me about your concerns and discuss the resolution, not being a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles posting this shit online
as far as what you paid - we discussed everything in my office everytime you wanted something extra, nothing was hidden from you

Wow this got nutz fast! Well Vlad let me say this before you continue to dig yourself a bigger hole... I will be posting up all the text between you and I.
As for pics.... Yea I got um, as for trying to get it resolved off forum, no really? That was tried and after getting scammed on parts, paying much more then his 3500.00 quoted price, finding out the truth about who actually painted his personal cars and seeing his in house work I had no confidence in him to correct his shabby work.
Vlad I will give an honest account of what happened with pics and text, I would advise you to refrain from name calling as this can be made much worse for you.
As for comming to your shop and being professional? what was I to say to you that hasent been said already? At that point I just wanted my part and to get the hell out of there!
I'm sorry I didn't get all barbaric on you and scream my head off.....that's just not who I am.
But if you like I can come back? I won't be so nice this time.

Vlad, you are handling this quite unprofessionally.

Also, you are a cock with tacky taste.

    That is all.

Come on guys, this could be handled so much better. M3Troy, do you really think Vlad will now want to work with you, now that you have posted this? This is a small world, shooting shit with someone then talking bad about them is not cool.

Painting a car and having insane standards usually ends up with the owner unhappy. My parents bought a brand new off the lot (2010) Honda and it went back in for paint issues 4 times. Because they talked with the people in person, all the issues were handled.

Granted you should get what you pay, and I know that Vlad’s prices are not for the weak of hearted, but then again, any high end shop will charge the same, if not more. Unfortunately Vlad doesn’t live/work closer to me or I would have him do my car.

Really only a business owner can understand what has taken place. If there was a problem with the paint job, he should have said something at that point or just left the car at the shop until it was done right. Who cares how much someone spends on a paint job. I have seen factory jobs from dealerships look horrible with large amounts of orange peels. M3troy does come off as one those meticulous customers who can be a pain sometime, you can tell by some of the questions he asks when potentially buying cars. He should have handled it personally off the forums, when he went up to shop to pick up the items from Vlad.

All said and done, I would need to see some detail pics of what was wrong. Any person that is so meticulous would have taken them to show what was wrong. Prove to the forum where the job went wrong. All this calling out is lame without some evidence.

Vlad, for the prices you are charging there should be absolutely NO need for a customer to come back with ANY complaints. Guys, we're talking paint jobs that cost as much as M50/S50 swapped E30's sell for on here. You should personally inspect them, make sure people are happy in the community you are active in almost daily.

Possibly, but there may be bigger plans in the future for it. Yeah, it does make the cabrio a twizzler but would gladly swap out my M20 for that if I had the funds.

I shall agree with Vlad, I checked out the painted thread and what I see is a lot of good work ethic considering he told him that he can save the doors versus just going out and buying them. As far as shady business conduct, I have not worked with him personally but judging but the paint thread, advising the customer on a cheaper and safer product seems honest and customer oriented considering the estimate to install a s54 was double.

told Yan to bring the car back to me so I can resolve the issues that he has, also asked him not to post crap on the forums until I get the chance to look at the car personally and see what the problems were.
Did he bring the car back to me? NO
Did he post garbage on line? YES
how else can I resolve this issue if I don't know what it is, don't see the car and can't fix it?

I fix and paint 10-15 cars a week, these 2 guys are just an example of people who are difficult to deal with and can't resolve the problem the way it needs to be resolved - bring the car back to me, talk to me, explain what the problem is so that I can take care of it.
Otherwise, how else can I resolve it?
