im also going m50 managment, but i have a turbo in the way of the m50 coil mounting location, i saw a couple other threads showing them mounted on the valve cover, im debating mounting them there, but not sure about what wires to use, will LS1 wires fit the e36 coil output?

i may just make a bracket and mount them on the outside/or inside of the fire wall and have wires going to the plugs

Hey, my car is having some management (I think so) problems and I can't stand it anymore.
Sometimes when slowly accelerating, till 1.5k revs it goes smooth, and then it starts to like loose power, poorly increases revs and then when it reaches 2.5k rpm's starts to rumble again :D and in that 1.5k - 2.5k revs range it sometimes just starts to twitch car so hard like to back and front that you just have no other choice than release clutch and stop that shit :D

Diagnostic doesn't show anything, AFM looks like working, Lambda sensor ok, tps seems like wokring too, etc., only I dont have cam sensor.

fuel pump is fine pierburg 3.8 bar, fpr 3.5bar, green top m50 injectors, bosch platinum sparks (with ngk's it was all the same problems).
      maybe some coil problems?

and yea, most the time it just goes fine, and spools tires like mad

      ok, now some good news:D
changed fpr to 3.5 bar, thanks to user whodwho for part number.

This thread is so raw. I love the car, I love the .GIFs, I love the "I did this.... NOT" posts.

          10/10 would read again

                  sooo bad luck :D

                  first some more shots...

...and then, head gasket leak. Started to leak after several speeding 200+ km/h :D

like this, @ start was only little bit oil, and later after more speeding, lil bit coolant :( seems like it was caused because of loosen head bolt, tried to tighten it, after that, it leaked less, but yea...

                  so started to disassemble

                  brah

                  comparison Victor Reinz and Elring

worked on It to late night, all assembled except cooling...started and it run ....at least for minute :D then I turned off engine, hope it will be fine now.

                  and before this all... :D

this is a great build. You've done some really interesting work here..

I've got to ask. What color are those rims exactly? It looks so nice against the paint..

                        ^^ quite alright lol

I really do love the ride. Its got great work done to it and a totally unique twist. Not to mention that you drive it like it should be driven. I'm jealous of the time and money you have to work with and the skills you display.

I'll certainly be checking in from time to time to see your updates.

theKrampus, actually I just never knew colour code for rims, because I chosen it from the colour palette and shop mixed it for me, that's the truth :D

planning on low boost ~0.5bar, I want to build it with stock parts from other bmw engines, so what pistons/rods should I use to get proper compression rate for turbo, or maybe the current setup is ok for that boost?
planning to o-ring block, stock headgasket + arp or so headstuds.
and if m50b25 green top inectors could be enough for low boost engine, or better to get ''bigger'' ones, maybe can reccomend something from oem injectors? running on 3.5 bar fpr.

still... maybe someone can suggest something about turboing this thing? low boost + m50 management, will it work? actually management is the thing that scare most, there is no detonation sensors etc, but with proper tuneup, It should be ok, right?

ok, now plan is to decompress engine by using m52b28 pistons and ~ 1bar, will see
also will try to use m50 management with remapping, only don't know how good it will work, some suggestions? :???:

                              plus some recent shots :D

                              kinda small :D
