Interesting. I guess my info was correct but not for the street ones. Thanks for this. Now its time for me to get rid of some of my wheels to do an E50 set.

Another quick question is "are the center ring holding the center cap pressed in or are they threaded?". Thanks for the replies Jim and congrats on the wheels again.

I don't think there's any BBS Motorspor street wheels. It's only a matter of flatbase or drop-center style.

My center caps hold by 2 allen screws.

I contacted a couple shops for my halves but they don't seem to reply to their emails.

I took a better pic this morning.

16x12 with two 6'' outer halves (gonna be used as barrels). I'm ordering the remaining halves in a couple weeks.

The final specs are gonna be 16x8.5 (2.5 lips) and 16x10.5 (3'' lips).

18mm and 22mm adapters, I don't recall the final offsets.

Damn those E50s are so badass! I want a set so bad.

My question is "is it necessary to take them apart when changing tires? For some reason someone had mentioned that to me & it has been stuck in my mind. Also the open center used to bug me and you seemed to have a solution that never dawned on me.

-which open center are you talking about ? The hole for the center cap ? If yes it's a custom cap accepting 70mm BBS logos.

BBS E50 with a Porsche fitment. I'm gonna build them in 16x8.5 and 16x10.5. 2.5'' and 3'' lips. 18mm and 22mm adapters. Custom center caps.

I also traded my Recaro Tropies yesterday for some awesome Recaro LS in tweed fabric.

I gonna take some pictures soon. :up:
