my e30 came with the projector halos as well.

Im not a fan of them but i am too cheap to shell out 200-300 for ellipsiods or smileys.

After awhile I got used to it and dont even care/mind anymore.

Ugly, I am not a purist in any sense. HID in smiles looks great though.

Looks like complete shit. It's a way of screaming to the public at large and people who like E30s in particular that you have poor taste.

My car had those same headlights in them. They were actually quite nice. The projector had a nice quality to it. I was not a fan of the angel eye, so I replaced mine with the bosch non-smiley with city light. I still have not changed my sig to an updated pic. You can see i used to rock those lol.

These where the first headlights i got for my first e30. I didn't know at the time that there was other headlights avalable, like the stock ellips and euro ellips (smiley and non smiley). I did notice that the sealed beams put out a better light then these though. But by that time i found the forums. i tossed the halos in favor of smileys not to long after that. But after all that i know now, if i ever do get an e30 again. I'll keep the sealed beams in it since i can see with them and they look fine in an e30. Also when i look back at the older pictures of my car with the halos. I think to myself... WTF was i thinking!!!!

What did you use to paint the grill and bumper rubber?
At walmart 2 cans of these "Krylon 12 oz Dual Paint and Primer, Satin Black" Spray paint. Like 4 bucks each. :)

The painting of the grills and bumper makes your car looking minty new!

What do you guys think about this on the e30 vert? I know elders that love this classic would make fun of me and others say just to ellipsoids with HID's but honestly i think this looks pretty tight. (Before and After)

Oh and i also repainted the grills and the black plasit bumper part as you see.
