I got bored the other day and was test fitting the tremec....I'll be rebuilding a good part of the firewall and the transmission tunnel forward of the shifter opening.

What kind of "modifications" did you have to do to the firewall? Any pictures??

Been real busy with this thing....

Got the new e46 steering shaft welded up

Got the motor test fitted and made some room on the firewall. My buddy has been making a custom header on the driver's side out of a block hugger I bought.




Welded up the rear spring top section that was completely rusted out with a new section:




Got my massive manual kit ready to go in and finished up the pedal after this shot:




More pics of exhaust to come. I have 8 days to get this thing driving lol

Polished up my front lips while waiting for my brand new rears to come in. I also sent the centers to powder. Lip on left is finished, but before metal polish. I'm happy.
