So, I thought I come in, say hello and show off my new project. I just picked up from a friend here a week ago, and i already have big plans for it. It's a 1991 BMW 318is Diamond Schwartz and while I love it, I can't drive it due to my friend selling off the M42 motor. This isn't a problem because I'm shoehorning in a M30 from a 1988 735iL and mating a 635CSi 5 speed to the motor. I'm also attaching the drive shaft to a 2.93 from the 325e. Things are building up and I'm getting really excited for this.
It already had its motor pulled so there is a few items missing in it:
like pieces of the interior
and the obvious:
it was in an accident before my friend bought it, so he only paid $1000 for it. Here is the damage at the time of the sale:
and here's what it's like now after I had the body shop simply pull the dent out:
The car all its records, everything was either kept in good shape or repaired. it also had flawless Sport Seats (which my friend put into his 318is, my car's twin) well as a few other things. I'm buying this off of my friend for $500 and we will be (hopefully) finishing the M30 swap by the end of September.
