I love these features of member's cars! It's my favorite thing to read on R3v, now lets just do them once a week;D

          Suck it, bronzit-bashing bandwagoneers.

Great car Frank. Congrats on the feature - it's obviously well deserved.

What a well sorted, tastefully modded, clean looking E30! How much does the s62 weigh in comparison to the m20?

Your build threads are second to none. Car looks amazing. I'd love to hear some driveability impressions.

The only thing I hate about this car is it was robbed of 2 weeks out of a COTM feature. I say we give Frank the first week of October as well!

Frank, you and your car are responsible for the many V8 thoughts running through my head!

This is just so awesome, the sound is amazing.

I've never understood the bronzit hate - it's pure retro goodness, especially when the car is as boss as this one is.

Thanks for the comments guys. I love to challenge myself with projects like this. Next is to learn to paint....then I am pretty self sufficient!

Brandon, thanks so much for taking 4hrs out of your Saturday to take pics of my ride. I had a lot of fun and can't wait to see you take some time to get yours painted!

Thanks, I plan to alleviate that with the gcs this winter

I got a alphaN tune from Ergen motorsports in the UK. Great guy, excellent service and helped me troubleshoot certain aspects of my swap. The alphaN tune removes the need for the MAFs and relies solely on AIT sensor, combined with the barometric sensor to rely on engine running conditions.

I have just over 290 bhp/tonne, which is equal or better than the following subset of MANY cars.......
Audi A6 avant 4.0L twin turbo
                                Ferrari California 30 F1 4.3L v8

                                Mercedes CLK AMGC63
                                Audi R8 4.2 Quattro RSI v8

                                That commentary should suffice :)

I'm guessing that my 0-60 time is a solid 3.9-4.0 seconds once I actually learn how to drive it and get the right tires/suspension...this winter
