    She lives!

    She lives!

The cars been up on jack stands for the better part of a month now. It's mainly been a waiting game for parts and this and that. But now she's alive!

Installed a new water pump, a new ignition rotor and distributor cap, timing belt, new accessory belts, new guibo and a complete shifter rebuild.

We went to fire her up yesterday after topping off her fluids and it would turn over, but not fire. We could tell we were getting fuel, so we tested for spark. Turn out the spark plug wires were flipped in the cap (duh).

So we took her out for a drive and she purrs like a kitten now. On the test drive we figured out that the syncro for 2nd gear is shot, and we think some bent the shift fork trying to yank it into gear, so I'm gonna see if I can grab a trans for cheap. The suspension needs to be revived, it is quite loose especially in the rear. I'm probably going to go with Bilstein Sport and H&R Sport/Race springs. The steering in it is pretty toast, the rack leaks out of both ends.

I'm happy to have her back on the road. She was in a rough spot when I picked her up. Today we are gonna take it up to a muffler shop to take out the first resonator and refab the exhaust mounts.

The old shift lower, it's pretty worn.

Figured out why my washer light is on. Lol

Now she's sitting outside with her younger sister.
