I thought so too, and the same thing with my e30. I had a 91 (last year of the hardtops)

I have an obd2 e36 and would love to do the euro/e30 style coolant reservoir (stock one is a pain to bleed and is fragile), but can't for fear of failing visual and SMOG in general. Nice car though, keep up the good work!

Joey there are a few posts with what to do when deleting the SAP. I happen to also live in CA and deleted the SAP. Do a post search under my name and you'll find it.

Thanks everyone. It's a '99 actually and I have a xbrace i'm just waiting for some free time to install it, Yeah I just feel like this car is much more reliable than the e30 and driving it is so much smoother and just overall easier. I'm the 3rd owner, First was a BMW mechanic who took excellent care of it and the 2nd owner was a guy in his early twenties that did some good maintenance on the car and I plan on doing the same thing

I too went from e30 to e36 M3, a cosmos coupe as well. I loved my e30 but I have loved the M3 more even though for most of my ownership of the M it has been parked. They're totally raw, good power, good looks, good overall cars.

The e36 M3 was also my first dream car that got me into cars as well.

Is that a 95 with an OBDII conversion or an OBDII with a secondary air pump delete?
