BTW the rear valence thing/ sideskirt is early model 325iX, but the side skirts are late model iX.

Take a look at my early model iX for reference. Notice the lines on the side skirts, thats early model while yours are smooth (late model)

Yes, I love them too. Wow - that is rare! Here's a sav beige if anyone's wondering:

wanted to go more aggressive. Been running some version of BBS Mahles or RA's on VW's and BMW's for over a decade, kinda like to keep it fresh to keep me excited. Ya know?:o

Thanks a lot man! I have 2 other euro spec e24's and e28 - but this is the first e30! And in a color I've been really into for a while - lucked out!

Update - replaced fuel pump relay - more reliable but still pump isn't turning on sometimes. I wiggle the relay and it'll come on and off - push wires below socket into relay and stays on. Def have to solder / clean that up - hoping it should be good after that! But picked up a new bosch main fuel pump to throw in also to be sure. Hope that makes this thing reliable!

In other news - the 90's austrian built Sebring muffler kept the car way too quiet. I could hear all the awesome noises pre exhaust so I cut at pipes pre muffler - here's a vid. Its only been 24 hrs like this and its just insane, downshifting off the freeway and giving 10% throttle, it pops and bangs and makes the most glorious muscle car / transam ///M1 sounding noises... but on acceleration in town I feel like such an ass. No matter how little noise I try to make, its just unnecessarily harsh and loud. Car has 2 into 2 cat on it, and there's an aftermarket header too - should I just add a resonator before two dual straight pipes? I want to quiet it down a bit but not much - def like this car to be super raw and raunchy. I have others that are nice and make more appropriate noises.
