    Great story and even cooler car!
    We drove all the way from Seattle to Charleston, SC in the E30.
    It was the coolest trip I've ever made!

    Oh nice, they are great people over there.

    The Salton Sea was pretty cool, i wish we had more time to go further south towards the better ruins. The place smells god awful though haha.

    Nice! I'm loving the long road trip stories, but so far you're is pretty much the best. I love seeing offroad vehicles that were once not meant to be as such. Your E30, that C-Class Benz, oh and I love the almost overkill Comanche.

    Silly question. Where does the 3rd person sit and how comfortable was it? I can't imagine a stripped and caged E30 was much fun to sit in the back of, lol.
    The car still has a full interior and isn't really that bad. I made the cage so the back seat is still fully functional.

    We rotated positions so it went Driver -> Navigator -> Sleeping in the back. It worked out pretty well
