an old hot rodder once told me, you ain't a car guy until you're a paint/body guy - I can attest to that after helping him paint my e30. the amount of work is ridiculous

My uncle owns a body shop, I know each stage and been through it all. Just because I want a Ratrod does not mean I lack the knowledge to paint it. I have had clean paint, wash and polished so much. People then scratch your hard work, key the sides...never again. I fucking love the Ratrod, I grew up with it and always told myself I would have one ;) I have not washed my car in years...it's so nice.

Nice feature. I love that the car looks completely trashed, but the engine bay is really clean :D Something slightly Mad Max about that.

I daily mine too - the M30 makes for a great daily driven e30!

Very nice build! Much respect for all the work that went into it. I can appreciate that. And it must feel so good to kill much of the newer "fast" cars out there... the looks you get must be priceless.

Awesome save from the crusher. I wasn't a fan at first with the rusty hood and mismatching panels but it truly is a car with patina that looks like it gets used. I like the function over form theme. And I like how it matches. Its not just like its got a rusty hood and clean panels everythwere else.

Not exactly my style but I definitely can appreciate it. Can't beat that m30 under the hood either!

My 86 iX now has the same e28 rear spoiler and it fits about as good as yours!
