    the black plague

    Well, I'm not sure on how to start/write a build thread. So i'm just gonna wing it. Well, I bought this thing hoopty about four months ago. Had no brakes, blown everything, no working tach. just a bunch of problems. But for 1000$ bucks i couldn't pass it up. it's been a love affair ever since.

    Things i've done so far
    - new hubs
    - BC-BR Coils
    - Condoor - Motor/Trans mounts, rear subframe/diff bushings, brake-lines
    - MoMo Wheel + Hub
    - Black Houndstooth door cards
    - New sunroof seal
    - Tire Rack C1's 15x8 On Vetnus V3's
    - Brakes (rotors/pads)
    - Timing belt/waterpump
    - IS trunk spoiler
    - Volvo lip (I know, it'll be oem soon)
    - New fogs
    - Gen maintenance
    - 2M shift boots
    - 3.73 lsd
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Plans? Well, i'm bored with the M20, and have figured Ford 302, why not?
    Planning to have it done by Mid September.
    ---- As a side note, I do plan to document things with the swap.

        Thanks man, I appreciate it. I've had a few e30s but this is the first one I'm "building". Looking forward to this one.

                  Before you yank the original motor out, I would recommend researching the swap. A lot of cars get stalled in the build when they have your thought process

                  A turbo M20 can do a lot of what you are expecting of the "302" without the headache of putting that Ford motor in there

                    Not sure, I was planning to turbo the m20 in the beginning . A friend talked me out of it. He let me ride in his 302 swap'd e30 and I sorta fell in love, plus I'd be making a lot of swap parts myself, already sourced a motor. On a side note my father traded this in at his lot and bought it for 600 and got the roof last night for 700

                        Philly craigslist, guy wanted 1200 went and low balled. Told us off, called us back a hour later. I wish I had more pictures of my lawn, my dads a e30 nut too. Has a 6 speed X3, 93 Vert , 89ix, and a 86E, and this white one, not sure on the year.

                          Well a bit of a update, switched jobs. Don't have to drive a 1 1/2 hour to work now. Anyways, made my own euro trim, and picked up a full 13 button OBC to swap in.

                            Little bit of a update, put in a kirk racing roll bar, painted the wheels. Haven't drove it much.

                              Well, it’s been awhile..... but scored a M3 off my buddy dirt cheap and ripped the m20 out and started to swap the s52 in. Car has gone through some visual changes. But sits in front of my parents has due to work/time constraints. Hoping to have it done soon though! How it sits now, had a carbon fiber sunroof panel fly off on me reason for the tarp



                              Snapped 4 of my mh wheel studs on the pass side, pushed it back to my buddys house on his longboard





                              Annnnd got a heck some time ago. Really hoping to post more, lurking on here and with the help of Dave/Jordan at Bimmer Buddies has really helped learn about these cars.


                              P.s. I didn't realize how the pics uploaded till i logged on from my computer, shows normal on my tapatalk app. Will try to figure it out! Thanks ya'll
