The closest thing to one of those cars we had in my family when I was younger was a silver 1988 Ford Taurus GL Wagon. It was my dad's daily driver in place of his newly acquired 1989/90 Lexus LS400.

Wow, what a throwback. he got all butt-hurt cause everyone made fun of him too much so he left the forums for good. upon leaving, (the weather was cold at the time) he said his car was gonna have plastic bumpers in the spring, BBS RS-GT wheels, and a J-stock suspsension. It was still an automatic.
What irked me about Jim Warren was he constantly stressed the fact of his ABSOLUTELY MINT STOCK INTERIOR. but when i noticed his two front seats had the little handles on the sides to flip them forward, i confronted him about it every time. and he ALWAYS ignored me. Whatta jerk.
BTW, hott-ass beater dude.

I dig the caprice. I'd drop a worked over small block in it, a posi rearend, and some HD shocks and drive that sucker like I was in a never ending '70s tv police chase.

It's not like it was our money.
Back OT that Caprice bring back HS memories. Great for the drive in flicks. Not as good as my cousin's 73 Chrysler Newport Custom aka the USS Enterprise.
