i love the look of shadowline on red, but because i have the euro bumpers, I think its a good contrast, although I would love to paint the bumpers red, but then it would kill the euro effect.
maybe ill have to pic up another e30 haha.
I think ill use some electrical tape on one side, ill post pics of it when i can
Few project pics (56k......wah wah wahhhhhh)

i'd vote to do an 'inner' shadowline as a way to meet the euro bumpers half-way.
.. and this is one example of a car that I feel might be more appropriate with a chrome kidney (I generally like black kidneys)Leave a comment:

shadowline is an absolute necessity on red cars imo. I couldn't stand the chrome on my car, it looks alot better black.
That being said, you do have chrome euro bumpers...but I'd still shadowline it.Leave a comment:

Sorry Dillon and Mike but i think you guys are wrong, We still use salt on the roads but not to the extent that they do in the east. We use a salt and sand mixture the salt is minimal but it is there. Sand does not lower the melting point of ice. This why the snow on the boulevards and in ditches melts before everything else. And why cars (like my beater) that dont get washed for a long time in winter will still turn white.
Its not much but its there.Leave a comment:

lol, why does no one believe that bmw made a factory ///M badge for the e30??
also, who thinks I should shadowline?Leave a comment:

yeah, edmonton and calgary both use sand to keep the sliding to a minimum, works better than salt but looks like sh*t around town this time of year. yeah Mike, I pulled her out to clean her up a bit and to give me some inspiration lol, pics are up in my toolbox at work :p. Yes the ///M badge is stock, although I may be taking off the NA grilles and replaced with euro, also now that I've upgraded the headlights to US ellips, I think i may spend the extra money and try to pick up some euro ellips as it would complete the exterior for euro parts. heh, YAN-3, I told you my car was an mtech1, you didnt believe me?
I'll take some pics of the interior this weekend after its all cleaned up, just have to vacuum her out a bit, also my obc is out as it is broken (ill throw it in for pics) and my center gauges are out for molding the gauges, it helps to have a brother in the stereo fabrication business :D.Leave a comment:

You don't know what your talking about. Calgary and Edmonton both don't use salt to melt the ice here. Rust is not an issue and he doesn't drive it in the winter anyways.
Nice pics Dillon, I'm surprised you brough her out already!
And Mtech1 cars did have the ///M badge from the factory I believe. Nothing wrong with it, its a mtech car, its no M3 badge or anything.Leave a comment:
