I've always wanted maritasblau (spelling?) Whatever the ORIGINAL E30 color that's insanely dark blue, black at night, blue in light. Such a sweet color. That's what I want. That, or some really dark blue, that's blue and back in different lighting - maybe something with a bit more blue.
But, you get my drift. I'm gonna try to find a pic.
I would TOTALLY do this color! http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?p=707482 That's BADASS.
And this color http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?p=596494
^^^that might actually be the one I originally mentioned.
Cirrusblau is a sweet color too - but I was something darker. Eventually, I'll either go really dark or really bright, like a bright blue or red - maybe even the purple that came on some e36 M3s. Not sure how that'd look. lol
What color to paint e30's?

I like red's and green's. So burgundrot, calypsorot. And there is a euro 324d down the road from me thats painted like this e21 that looks good if it was cleaned up.

I am about to be starting on painting the 88 Ginster yellow. ( Yes, it's a V.A.G. color. No, I don't care what you think, I like it) I haven't seen any yellow e30's, so mine will be that.Leave a comment:

Amen, I had a black e36 and that was such a pita to keep up, constantly using a california duster, birds liked to shit on it, showed everything from finger prints to swirls but when it was polished it looked amazing for two seconds.i have a black e30..and the paint is kind of old. but black is just so rediculous to keep up. i work in the detail dept at bmw and i am constantly dusting off my car. right after im done, new pollen collects. dont forget about swirls and scratches. so a black can look bad or it can look really really goodLeave a comment:
