I dont think that most Honda enthusiasts care about keeping a clean factory look. Forget stamping metal. Go buy some Type-R badges at your local Auto Zone and they will sell like hotcakes.

One way to really make them sell is to retrofit the honda logo on the center cap and make it look factory. Cutting a 1-inch disc out of aluminum couldn't be that difficult. Stamping the logo into it might be somewhat challenging even though they will gladly accept a screen printed logo.

Or you get the emblem that fits already with no work. It apparently came on 80's Hondas.
