How many people really like houndstooth? It looks like a university professors blazer. I suspect that most of the admiration is due to its rarity... much like the e30 touring (it's a fucking station wagon).

Hounds tooth looks great, although I've never seen a decent set in real life and I don't know if I would like it more than black leather!

Yep, no third brakelight, and the air ducts are shaped differently, they are trapezoidal instead of rectangular and there is one extra duct.

Side bolster was replaced with a new fabric. Headliner is suede. Rear euro shelf now.

Now features an E36 e-brake handle.

I've seen two cars with blue houndstooth up this way. One is in a junk yard but it's tore up from sitting around with the windows down, and it's a sport seat int. The other one is here in town, the cars tags expired in may and it is just sitting there with the tires going flat. The int. in it looked good but it has reguler seats in it. I keep trying to catch the guy at home but he's never there.

I think the number is 0211, the 1231 isn't showing up under any of the cloth material pages.

Using your last 7 digits of the VIN you posted, I found that there was a 211 material code. Thats the Houndstooth insert itself I am assuming. I wonder what the grey is...

Yeah, HT from the factory. I found the slip of paper stapled underneath the back seat- just in case anyone needs to source their material/fabric.

Every fabric style had a 4 digit number attached to it. Which is Houndstooth is my question, along with the gray that went on the side bolsters...

i was cleaning up my interior one day and removed the backseat, underneath i found a printed piece of paper with the VIN etc. it says the model number is 1231- i'm not sure if it's for houndstooth or not. ahah, just thought i'd share.

ahha mtechnik posts his interior every chance he gets.
