I'll elaborate for those who don't know of Markus' work. He is known affectionately as Mr. BBS in certain circles and spends much of his time sourcing and refinishing BBS (and other) rims, in addition to some other stuff: http://www.bmwm3shop.de/

I purchased them in refinished condition and had them shiped here, these are otherwise NLA through BBS.

Just a heads up.. working on an e30 is not like working on an e46, you're gonna have to get a lil more dirty

Welcome to r3v and gl with your e30/m3

The wheels were recently finshed by Markus in Germany. Hands down he does some of the best work I've ever seen!

Interior I'd rate an 8.5 out of 10. Almost everything is near perfect with the exception of a couple minor issues that I need to correct, like a broken rear ashtray, and some natural patina of the leather seats in front.

    here are a couple pics:

    E46 to E30 Convert

    Hello Everyone,

Its good to stay in contact with those who share a similar passion so I finally signed up, thought I'd introduce myself.

I wanted to officially introduce my 'new to me' E30 M3.

I have been around cars my whole life and after a wonderful couple years with my E46 325i I decided to come to the DARK SIDE.

A friend of mine was actually searching for an E30 to use as his DD when he stumbled upon a small ad in an obscure location for an E30 M3. I was heavy into tuning my E46 at the time and just out of curiosity I phoned the guy to ask for some pics. I was told that the car was parked away and covered in his garage, and the garage was blocked with 10 feet of snow so I could not have pics at that time. I dismissed this as one of those unicorns that don't really exist, and that was that. A few weeks later to my suprise I get some pics sent via email - it was love at first sight. I had resigned to thinking that I should be happy with my E46, afterall I had won a few awards with it at a local Euro Show (including Best in Show), but I could not stop thinking of my unicorn. My GF was incredibly supportive actually and told me to 'go for it!', so myself and a couple friends parted out my E46 in about 24 hours. I also sold my other toy - my Ducati.

Enter E30 M3 - So brief history goes this car was originally purchased by a BMW Master Mechanic, then sold years later to a girl who was heavily involved in the local BMW community. I think the original owner ended up with it for a while again until it found a home with the PO who raced in Targa Newfoundland a few years back.

I have almost a complete service history and believe me when I say this car has been well cared for. In fact when I had to have the 'First Time Inspection' which is quite an exhaustive evaluation, the only thing I needed to replace was a ball joint.

ps - here is a before and after of my E46
