The heads are pretty similar but use the intake manifold from the M50. It flows better than the M52's.

Your car looks unbelievably hot now. I love the JDM look man.

BTW, I'm the one who plastered your car all over DriftMechaniks. Sorry, I just love your car and I can't wait to start drifting mine :).

I think they're pretty much the same, I know that the newer M/S52 heads are missing a hole for a temp sensor/ hose fitting(I can't remember which it is right now and it's irrelevant). Other than that I'm pretty sure they're more or less the same but I can't say that for sure....

i purchased an m50 and then came across a m52 block so im just gonna put em together...is there really much of a difference m50 vs m52 head?

    z50- you are correct.

rwdrift- come one..you know you want to...;)

and to the picture requests ill work on that this weekend.

and as far as my motor basicly it will be an m52 block with m50 head and all obd 1 accesories, pulley, header, hopefully cams and then megasquirt. im expecting 220-250....
Ahh I see, darn shame. I guess a DD with some modest gains till I have money to swap is fine.

Well he said it would still be on a "tired m20" so i was under the impression he would build it up.

for now it will be n/a. but it will have megasquirt and be ready for turbo in the future when my driver skill increases. i figure around 200 wheel will be leaps and bounds on a tired m20. not to mention new bushings and the added chassis stiffness from the cage
    +1 on the sideshots
