Fucking cool Jason! I was never into those cars until recently. My boss is doing a full blown resto on a convertible for his wife in our shop right now. I love it.

I ran a Holley 390 on mine for a long time - my stock carbs were worn to shit. It ran fine for me, some guys say they have problems with the intake icing up, but I had no problems. My 140 issues consisted of valve seats falling out of the heads. I had intended to run the triple throat Webers, or fab up a manifold and run a Megasquirt setup, but I kind of lost interest after a head that I had just had fixed (by a local shop) dropped another valve seat.

Have you had any experience with the single 4 setup on the 140's? Cause it was on the 140 motor that i got. But i think i got the stock carbs for a 140 somewhere around here also.

It's actually a blue (Danube blue). But very hard to tell in pictures and real life, till you get very close to it.

And i think i just may go ahead and use the 140/4spd. Cause it's a very low mile over-the-counter GM motor.

    nice!

My dad used to have a 65 vert. He really enjoyed the optional quick ratio steering box in his.

    Run the 140/4spd.

Your car is beautiful. I miss my Corvair (a Corsa 140/4spd car) :(
