Been a while since I updated. The car is currently off the road due to having no insurance. So I've been collecting parts, I picked these up yesterday for 100$ with tires. One has a small crack in it that I'm going to get welded. And they're +35 offset, so I'm going to run a 15 or 20mm spacer (I only need a 10mm for them to clear)

    They're 16x7.5 with 205/45/16's on them.

The front looks wonky. I have 195/60/14's. It should have 195/65/14's. So I might grab some tires and chop like half a coil out.

    Well, it was a bitch!

I did the inner and outer ball joints, shocks struts and springs.

I got Tokico HP's all around for 100$ (wicked deal) and a set of H&R sports for 130$. I didn't get around to the LCABS but they can be done while the lower control arms are in the car.

I used one of those rent a tool ball joint service things to remove the old ball joints. It's essentially giant c-clamp with a cup, you need to destroy the old ones by pressing the stud out of the housing to get them out. 3 of them came out fairly easy, but one of them had to be a whore and get stuck, took 2 people standing on the control arm and me jumping on the breaker bar to get it out, it made a pretty loud pop.

I never got around to putting the rear springs in tonight, it was too late by the time we finished. So tomorrow afternoon I will, they should go in fairly quickly. I'll post pictures once I'm done.

I was a BMX instructor at a sports camp up north. I got back last week with a job at parts source (I work with ricers). Didn't have very readily accessible internet. And the dirt road killed my e30 suspension.

For those that missed the swap

    Update!!

Well, as some of you may have followed. I did a NV M50 into this car because of some previous owner neglection the 2nd week I was driving it. The timing chain tensioner was shot, it skipped a couple teeth and ate a valve. So in went the M50.

Now the front ball joints are gone along with the front shocks and LCAB's

    Sooooooo!!

I also have a new set of Tokico HP's and H&R sports. Since I got a winter car now this one is going to sleep for the winter and coming out with new paint and maybe a snail.

Haha, thats top secret. I'm working on getting the E-manage to be able to control the the ignition timing on the stock ECU. I actually need to wire it to the board before the signal is amplified. The turbo will be in the spring for sure.

But for now I got the diff, half shafts, front brakes and rear sway bar all done up. Just need to do the springs, shocks, e brakes, and rear brakes. Then it should be all good.

There is a print on M42 club. Search coil on plug

    PROGRESSS!!!

My 325 is dying so the 318 needs to come out.

Me and my canine companion went for a parts run. Got some brake hard line, flaring tool and fittings.

I'm going to throw the diff back and half shafts back in when my buddy gets here. Then all that's left is the e brake assembly, rears rotors and pads. Then bleed the brakes and do a celebratory burnout.

What coils did you end up using?

Also, is there a print floating around somewhere for that plate? Or did you measure it all up yourself? If you have a print, would you mind sending it my way?
