Meh, it's just a normal car to jump in and drive.

very little probably since the car is not optimized for it, but at least GM is putting it out there. there is an option. people aren't sitting on their hands waiting for the next big thing to come out.

Oh and there now is 122 stations that carry it in the USA and Canada, with many more that are planned as well.

So what's the point of waiting for hydrogen? FFV are capable backwards and pumps are reasonably easy to change to create the infrastructure.

Not saying someday it may not be hydrogen that is the long run champ, but for the time being E85 is now and better than gas and feasible.

To me it's like HD DVDS vs Blu Ray. I'm going to wait and see what takes over. I feel sorry for the people that bought into HD DVD bigtime - Just like I feel sorry for heeter buying a flex fuel impala.

GM is overzealously attempting to jump to the lead of the pack after failing with the EV1. Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, have taken footholds in their own corners of the "Next-Generation" of propulsion methods. Now, if you watch the TV ad's GM is making an all out assult on any/all angles so as to get a foothold somewhere and then market their strongest spot on the market. That's how huge Inc.'s do it by shotgun spray and then whatever they kill they take. I say 4 of the 7 "Option's" they are touting will fall off in the next 48 months.

Thank you. Hence my previous statement - buying a flex fuel car is premature and useless.

PS - I still think his parents made him buy it and he's trying to justify.

We're just seeing short run changes in food prices. There no proof production and labor and land allocation can't go back to normal or even reduce prices in the long run. Assuming the short term substitution will continue on indefinitely is highly doubtful.
