Sorry mike, you're absolutely retarded though. it was up in the air for 3 days straight. That's dirt... it was sitting in the mud for 9 months. think i would know if it had rust moreso than yourself.

    it's a 5 speed.

90hp 1.8 liter with the 2h or 4k close ratio 5spd is what the US GTI's came with stock. It has more torque than the heron headed 1.6 Euro 110hp motors so, at the time it was actually quicker than the euro GTI's.

Hmm, a tech 1 and a GTI. we are one in the same.

This car is in outstanding condition with 81,000 original miles. it had 78k when we bought it. The front plastic euro is sitting in the garage waiting to go on, didnt get around to it this weekend.

The only reason it's flat black is because the car met with a deer a few years back and the front end was flat black when we got it. So we just bombed the rest of it.

can't argue there, hence all the ratty looking veedubs out there that have evolved into the ratty new style appearing in the euro enthusiast community in the past few years. all i'm saying is being different is not the same as sucking.

    hello brava
It's cool to see you mk1, here's a pic of mine. It would crush my e30 on the track ;), but I'm working on that.
