Naw still in central PA going to school, I'll pm you next time I'm home, I'd love to see your finished product. Hopefully by the next time I come home I'll have the new wheels and suspension.

I can't believe how much hate there is in this thread, that car is pure art. It does exactly what art is supposed to do, it evokes a strong emotional reaction. Either love it or hate it, and it still lives up to what art should be.

Absolutely nothing is wrong, you have over 1k posts, these threads always go down in flames.
The alt. is from your motor I believe, it is shiny and new, much like the Love Boat theme. Oh and it is now installed. I rock.
Wait, that's "exciting and new" actually!

Spastic, If you like it, keep it. I think it looks good, when you change it to something else that will look good as well I am sure. Heaven forbid someone should try something they are interested in right? I'm going to go change my alternator now, everyone ok with replacing a BMW part with another BMW part? Or is that too unoriginal? ;)
Is this new BMW part or a 20yr old part from the junk yard?

you gave it an identity crisis. It's got wheels that were probably more than the car was to buy, tons of money in the suspension and (I'm assuming) engine and maintenance, then you give it a rusty hood and a roof rack with some trinkets on it and call it "redefinition". It doesn't know what it wants to be. So, rock some widened steelies and rust out the trunk lid (they can't be too hard to find either) and take the bumpers off, or make wood bumpers, or something. But right now it looks half-assed, like some abercrombie model walked off the set, threw on some boots and grabbed a shotgun, and wants to go hunting.
