In fact, I consider myself a pretty "mature" guy, (30, career Marine, wife, kid, mortgage) and I love this stuff. I have had to wear a uniform for the last 12 years, and have at least 8 more to go. My car is the only way I get to express myself. I am not one of those people who sees a BMW roundel as a status symbol, or the be all, end all car. I LOVE BMWs, but what I love even more is taking an opportunity to express myself. My Marines love it. Most ricers hate it. I don't really give a shit.

I respect that you are trying something new with a car such as the E28 (a car that most people usually keep clean and show or swap in a TCD unit/S38,) but it does have that dumped Volkswagen Beetle on spring pads look to it. The car started out pretty nice (I have seen a variety of pictures on MyE28 before it underwent its not-so glorious transformation.) It's your car, and you already seem to have a fanbase built up, but it's not my taste. The E28 crowd has always seemed like a mature/non-poseurish crowd, but this car certainly differs from that stereotype.
