How are those tires holding up with that power? Would you go up in size?

Very well done, Looks understated. I've always felt that this car doesn't get the credit it deserves. Love every little thing about it!

    Evolution of my 325is...

I was just sitting around today looking at all my old pictures of my 325is so I thought I would post up an inspiring thread... This takes course over the last 4 years. Shows what you can do with LOTS of time and money...

We Start the evolution with a nearly bone stock 87 325is with m3 springs, meh shocks and a terrible paint job...

Time for a new paint job...

Time to get rid of those UGLY bumpers!

Finish it off with new suspension, wheels, skirts, and a rear apron.

The motor is what makes this car special. Stock power just wouldn't do.
First turbo setup with a stock 2.5 (238 whp)

Add a 2.7 crank, some new rods and pistons to the mix.

Rebuilt head with welded water jackets, 273 cam and all new components

2.8 stroker with a nice new HX35 on it. (331whp)

    Current Setup:
    2.8 stroker
    HX35 Turbo
    MS1 extra High Res Code
    GM Waste Fire Coils
    3in Exhaust

    Full late model conversion
    M-tech 2 rear apron
    is skirts
    M-tech 1 Spoiler
Smoked lights all around (not ghetto)

    C3 Motorsport Coilovers
    AKG 75d Bushings all around
    IE toe/camber adjustment tabs
    Adjustable M3 front endlinks
    Rota Slipstream 16x8 w/ 225/45 Hankook RS2s

    +lots more

Currently the Car is undergoing a fuel pump install for more boost (Bosch 044) and replacing the transmission with one without a broken shift fork. I just finished up camber/toe adjustment tabs on the rear subframe and AKG bushings in the rear.

My only plans for the near future is an interior refresher, new dash (needs installing), Fast Idle Valve, 95 M3 rack swap and more boost.
Working...
